I saved a bunch of web sites on my safari reading list so that I could look at them when not connected to the Internet. I have since read them, but they are still on the reading list when ALL is selected. How do I clear all old reading list pages?

I saved a bunch of web sites on my safari reading list so that I could look at them when not connected to the Internet. I have since read them, but they are still on the reading list when ALL is selected. How do I clear all old reading list pages?
Swipe right to left across the title, and a red "Delete" button will appear. Press it to delete the reading list entry.
If there is no obvious way to delete something on the iPad, this is usually the way to do it.
