Updating to latest firmwarequestion

I have just recieved a notifictation of the latest firmware for my iPad 2 to the latest 6.1.

My questeion is 2 parts but still simple.

If I update, will I loose any settings or APPS? and;

Has any problems with the 6.1 been identified?

You won't loose any of your app after upgrading to any OS.And no there are no problems in iOS6.1

There's a possibility that apps won't work if there's functionality incompatibility with iOS 6.1.1 that the developer hasn't addressed. That's why Apple does releases to developers before releasing to regular users, so developers have time to update their apps if needed.

If you find an app doesn't work after upgrading, you should contact the developer.

I updated a 4s iPhone and 3 iPad with no problems.

Info appreciated. The upgrade worked nicely on both my iPhone and iPad. Nothing untoward noticed so far.
