Ipad mail issue

I have a new iPad 2, and its been great, but I have an odd issue. I have an email that won't delete. I access my mail through the mail icon on the tray at the bottom of the homepage, not through my browser. I hit delete, it's still there. I swipe the message for the delete button, but its still there. Do I need to uninstall my email and redo it all? Anyone ever have a similar issue? Thanks!

Nevermind. Just as I went to show my wife the problem it deleted. 2 days of frustration solved somehow.
