ipad 1 crashing and screen flicker

my ipad keeps turning itself off,prior to powering down,the screen flickers similar to a tv thats not tuned in
heve reset and restored,will work for a couple of minutes ,then bang again,any ideas

It's possible that the screen is starting to fail. A Genius Bar appointment at an AppleStore could confirm that.

Did you spill water on it? If you did, leave it in warm place for a couple of days with some silica gel around and it will be fine. Otherwise hit the apple store.
