I have tried everything I can think of and still cannot export albums to my PC. Now I am wondering if it even can be done. Can anyone give me the definitive answer and/or instructions? Thanks.

I have tried everything I can think of and still cannot export albums to my PC. Now I am wondering if it even can be done. Can anyone give me the definitive answer and/or instructions? Thanks.
Well, when i connect my apple devices to my dreaded windows laptop, i get a window pop up that says if i want to import pictures, usually from the phone as i take pictures on it and if i say yes then they are uploaded. I dont know whats wrong with your setup or why its not doing anything, another possible way to transfer pictures to the computer is to upload the pictures from the ipad to flickr or photobucket and then use the computer to save the pictures from your hosting account (flickr )

Works like windows explorer. I got it yesterday and have been able to even add files into a couple of apps I had loaded on myiPad 1.
