About LinkBacksI updated with the latest iTunes version and iOS and now the iTunes app disappeared. I can to iTunes ny other means but I can't get the iTunes app to appear. I wiped out everything and started again but still app won't appear. Any suggestions.

From what version of iOS did you upgrade? And, what version is your iPad?
Apple changed the function of some of the icons when they released iOS 5. The iTunes icon is now a purple one with a musical note, while the iPod icon is now an orangey color with a musical note.
I say all that because you can't delete the stock apps. So, maybe the appearance has changed and you didn't know it?

thanks that was a good idea, i did a little more investigating. seems i have an issue with memory.
