Can someone tell me how to clear the list of names in the 'TO' field. When I send a new email, as soon as I start to type a name in the TO field a list drops down of others I have sent email to.
Is there a way to clear this list?

Unfortunately, no. This is a "feature" from Apple that, as far as I can tell, none of us like and have hated ever since the iPad (maybe even just iOS) debuted.
All you can do is ignore it. Sorry - but maybe it's a comfort to know that you're not the only one in this predicament?

Thanks Marilyn...that's what I was afraid of. I wonder, do the names just cycle off as the list fills up.
You would think that would have been fixed in the upgrade.

My understanding is that, after a time, the names do cycle off. I've never really noticed or looked, TBH. I just try to ignore that whole part, ya know?
