My facebook app does not work !!

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I'm so sorry you've had to wait so long. When an App behaves strangely it's best to close it completely and then relaunch it.
From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it, now press the home button to return to your screen. It's also a good idea to close all these apps, as it helps the iPad run smoothly. Let us know how you go.

My Facebook app on my I pad is not working. My like,comment,share buttons will not work. it seems that when i first turn it on it will let me hit the like button and respond but after that initial hit it will not work again until either turn off I Pad or exit the App. My I Pad has ios 6.0.1,I have 32.3Gig of storage available,

You could try deleting the app and reinstalling it. That might help.

Thanks.That was the fix. I deleted the Facebook app that I had downloaded from Safari and got the one from the App Store . Works great. Thanks.
