To put it simply, you have to make a choice. Jailbreak or ios6. You won't be able to have both until a JB for ios6 is discovered.

In addition to having to make a choice between jail break and iOS 6 - should you choose to give up the jail break, you will have to restore to the stock iOS 5.1.1 using iTunes. Then, you can use the OTA to upgrade.

I am not jailbroken as yet on my iPad but I am on my iPhone 4 I don't think I will update my iPhone I have it exactly how I want it so it's not needed but I have the choice on the iPad and I will be updating as soon as I can which I was informed is as of 6pm tonight in UK! I decided to not JB my iPad as I have my iPhone already with a JB so I am quite happy just waiting for the iOS 6 to hurry up haha
