About LinkBacksI am travelling to shanghai(China) shortly, i live in Australia and i am not sure if i purchase an i pad 2 and a i phone if they will work in australia? Can someone please help because i dont want to be spending all this money and then find they are no good

Yes you can! No problems, just change the 3g sim and you're away laughing.
Get yourself a China Unicom pre pay sim card.

Is the ipad2 3g option available in China??
I only ask because I'm living in Shanghai and I want the 3g version as well but have resorted to asking a friend to bring one back from abroad...
