I am setting up my 3GS now....I am at the screen asking for my apple ID which is used to set up icloud/app store etc..... I have an ID which I usually use for the store etc BUT I have a mobileme account as well.

Does it matter which one I use? Should I use the yahoo one? or the me.com? I don't use the me.com really.

generally you use the one u use for buying apps/music/movies. So use the yahoo

I use a mac.com account, not for email but just for Mobile Me & app store so try me.com if others don't work.

He didnt say that the yahoo did NOT work, he was simply asking if he should use the apple ID he normally uses, or the me.com account which he rarely uses. I would still go with the Yahoo because if that is the Apple ID you use for the App Store as you said, that will be the one that lets you download all of your stuff to your phone.

you can set up the iCloud with your mobileme id and then, in the iTunes settings, use your iTunes ID. Then each phone in your house can have it's own iCloud while sharing apps and music with the same iTunes ID.
