Press the home key twice, close Safari, and start it up again. That may fix it.
Sorry but new to iPad. What are you calling the home key? Thanks G
The home key is the large key with a square on it at the base of the iPad, right above the connector. Press that twice and the multitasking bar will appear at the bottom. Press and hold on any one of the icons there until they start jiggling about. Then press the minuses (-) on all open apps (all apps in the bar) including Safari. Then start Safari up again... that should do it for you.
