    syncing iBooks

Apparently this has become an impossible task for me. I recently got the new iPad and never got around to updating my library. So I've been trying to do that for an hour. I wanted to add two books. I add them to the library, then I sync books, but nothing I do will add them to the bookshelf on the iPad. I've rebooted the computer and the iPad. I've removed the books from the computer, moved them to different folders, nothing seems to remedy the problem. These are epub files that I know are good because I was reading them and now I cant

Is there an alternative to getting books on here?

Open iTunes and the folder where your ePub are stored. Drag and drop the ePub on to iTunes then sync. That "should" work. That is how I do it and it works for me

Not for me. I'm wondering if the file got corrupted. I did move it from one computer to another. Not likely but I will see.

To test the epub file email it to your iPad , then select the attachment and choose open in , then select iBooks, if it still does not land on the book shelf I'd say it is damaged
