    According to Apple's page on iBooks, over 200,000.

    Apple - iPad - Buy and read books like never before.

    Kindle is throwing arround the number 950,000, but that includes everything you can get on a Kindle, not just standard ebooks: blogs, newspapers, periodicals, audiobooks, etc. Still, last time I heard they they had a lot more ebooks, about four times as many if I remember right.
