    Screamer's Kinda Scary Tales

    Hi everyone,

My name is Dwayne Ferguson and I'd like to shamelessly plug "Screamer's Kinda Scary Tales" now on iBooks. It's great for kids 8-12 and it's 3.99. My other books (not on the iBooks store yet) are the Kid Caramel: Private Investigator series, the Hamster Vice comic book series, and Art Directing Mutant League: from Sketch to Television.

Nice to meet you. Take care.

    Dwayne

    New book! The Freeman's Oath, a biblio-mystery!

Greetings! My name is Joseph Newman and I'm new to this thread. I'd like to announce the recent availability of my book, The Freeman's Oath, in iBooks. It's free! Please find a cover image and synopsis below:

    The Freeman's Oath.jpg

Meet Jonathan Gray, 27, a struggling Boston rare book dealer. The accidental death of his parents three years ago has him casting about, trying to uphold his father’s legacy. Meanwhile, Mercedes, an alluring attorney with whom Jon has a one-night stand, threatens to become an actual real girlfriend. Which might be problematic, since Jessie, the one girl Jon has ever loved—whom he dumped with spectacular quickness after his parents’ death, but who can blame a guy stunted by grief?—has suddenly reappeared on the scene. Jon’s in trouble. He needs to grow up, fast, or lose everything.

There might be a way out. When an old customer shows up with a long-lost and exceedingly puritanical document, the Oath of a Free-man, the hope of a huge sale gives Jon one chance to save the business and redeem himself.

Many thanks for checking it out
    !

    With best wishes,

    Joe

Hey guys I'm Jeana Laurie! My book is “His Niji.” And to clear this up "Niji" means "Rainbow" in Japanese.

    {Story Summary}

The reader sees life through the eyes of Ahya Hatsu, a twenty year old writer. But the story begins with Ahya listening to a discourse, about a man named Hitome Ashton. Hitome was born disabled, never having the ability to walk. He was known as a painter both by trade, and heart. This was because he chose, to see the world as the artistic work that it is. He inspired many, and his works became highly regarded. But it was one day that he chanced upon the scene of a nightmare, a small girl was being abducted at gunpoint. He rushed to her aid, slowing the man until help could arrive. The small girl was unharmed, but for that to be so, Hitome gave his life. Years later, in honor of him, Hitome’s elder brother proudly opened: ‘Hitome’s United Academy of Art.’ Ahya is invited to attend, which she does. But with the painful burden, of being the small girl Hitome saved all those years ago. Ahya doesn’t plan to find happiness in her life, or even false contentment.

But as she learns about her fellow class-mates, whom have their own scars, and joys, she for the first time grows to know the beautifully hopeful outlook Hitome held. A young man by the name of Cliff, is among those in her class. He is a skilled violinist, but has little passion for music, as he is locked in his own personal grief. However, after reading the first novel to be written by Ahya, he is touched deeply, seeming to derive a new reason to pursue music. After he and Ahya meet, a subtle friendship forms, as they both are captivated by, and deeply respect the other’s works of art. Time and trial gracefully weave their hearts closer, as they realize a love for one another.
A love that seems unhindered by the past. Unknown to them though, is the undeniable fact, that Ahya is the small girl Hitome gave his life for, and that Cliff, is his son.

    Thanks!

    Hi Folks,

I'm happy to report that as of this week, The Gateway, Book 1 of the Harbinger of Doom saga, has gone past 11,000 total sales! Get yours now at the Apple IPad store while it's FREE -- see link below.

    THE HARBINGER OF DOOM SAGA

The Harbinger of Doom saga centers around one Lord Angle Theta, an enigmatic warrior of unknown origins and mystical power. No mortal man is his match in battle. No sorcery can contain or confound him. No scholar or sage can outwit him. But for all his skills, he is but one of us; a man, a human, who shares our faults, our dreams, and our ambitions. He boldly strides across the land, fearless, peerless, and cloaked in mystery; all his will bent on righting such wrongs as he deems fit.
Until the day the Gateway opened and turned the world on its head. On that fateful day, Korrgonn came and washed away our dreams. And his outre' realms of chaos set their unholy mark upon our world and claimed it for their own.
Only Theta and his companions see the enemies aligning against us. Only they foresee our end coming -- the end of civilization, the end of the world of man. Only they can hope to turn the tide of madness and preserve all that we hold dear.
But no man, not even our greatest hero, can stand against the Lords of Chaos and the dark armies of Nifleheim at their command. Fiends that infiltrate unseen within our ranks, that tear down our temples and our traditions; that devour us from within, unseen, unknown, unheralded, and unopposed until the hour grows far too late.
Through the murk and mist that hangs before our eyes, one man only sees true. One man pierces the veil of magic that blinds us all and marks the world as it truly is, revealing secrets, secrets of Angle Theta, so horrifying as to shatter a man's mind and call into question the very nature of good and evil.
Join us now on our journey back to the days of high adventure.
