Are you still working for captain? In that case it is smarter to hold onto it and restock a bit. Although, I have to say I never did, I was too impatient.

Personally, I like sending it off as quickly as I can. Mainly because I'm impatient and I want to do the next quest. Lol. And I have no idea on what to stock up anyway.

How many levels are there in the boat order?
I was doing mine a couple orders ago and I saw something about captain 2 or 3? How do I know what level I'm doing right now?

I'm done captain 2. This is boat 3 into captain 3. I was thinking stock up a bit too. No harm in that and then I have a better chance of being able to fill the next one on my own. My luck it will ask for jam which takes for ever and I don't have much of. Thanks for the advice!

Lol. I'm in the same predicament as you are. My boat is ready to be filled and I have everything but since I have to be out and about today I'm waiting seeing as I still have 15 hrs to go.

To answer your question. If I have a not so busy day I will send the boat off as soon as its filled so I can get the bonus plus the voucher BUT if I'm going to be away from my iPad2 then I wait to I'm free to send it.

Just know how many hrs you have before it leaves then add that to your current time and make sure your back in time to send it so you can collect your bonus and voucher.

It's the first time I've been lucky?? Enough to be that prepared that I'm not scrambling so I appreciate the insight. I've still got 10 hours before it leaves. Figure I'll make some of the longer production times until then!
