After reading the link, I felt the need to respond. I totally agree with you! I did decide to "pay" little Tom... I even bought a few diamonds to do it... Yes, I decided to spend a bit of real money to do it. I figured $1.99 is not a whole lot and I had some money on an iTune gift card. But, I really didn't NEED to spend the money because 1. My farm is doing quite well without it. Heck I have about $750,000, I'm at level 46, I own every production machine there is and all the animals I want or have room for right now, so I did not NEED Tom to be successful in the game. 2. I was only 5 diamonds short of being able to pay for Tom with diamonds that I earned from the game. If I had wanted to wait a day or two, I would have maybe earned them. And the thing is, it really didn't take me that long to earn them. I know I spent most of my diamonds speeding up the making of my jewelry machine and adding a production que to it, so most, if not all, of my diamonds have been earned since getting the jewelry maker a couple weeks ago. So it is possible to earn enough diamonds to pay Tom from the game if that is ones priority. Yes, having Tom is fun, having loads of diamonds is great, but there are many ways to enjoy this game and after all it is just a game. If people start getting really worked up about the game, they really need to take a chill pill and step back for awhile and get some prospective... It's just a game after all...Quote:
