    How is this supposed to work with wheat?
    There seems to be an established protocol here that I have not read

    You come to my store and buy the 1 wheat for 1 coin. This way I know you are there and I will put the item ( goat cheese in this case) up for sale. Come on over, I will put up the wheat for sale
