Indeed! I've also had xp not go into my collective xps- but sadly I've been in denial about that one. I just REALLY wanted this game to be non greedy. But since reading that others have missed out too I've accepted it. Ohh god I still can't accept our boxes are gone. AND I've done all my housework.. And quite frankly that's just not on. Next thing hubby will expect this house to be clean all the time in leu of my precious time wasting games. And that's just not happening. Though I have got a nice collection of materials for expanding barns n silos... Since they're so rare now I'm considering an on line auction. Lol

Write and let then know that. They need to know what their fans are thinking. People are leaving messages on FB and in the comments of the game too. It's not just here. People are unhappy and they are going to loose fans if they don't do something quick.

I did email the developers with my decision to quit playing. I indicated that I have spent lots of money on games like Dragonvale and would have spent money on this game as well, had they not taken away the fun box hunt (I know they are still around, but I enjoyed it the way it was before). I'm not blowing smoke either. Im done playing. It's unfortunate. The game had a lot of potential to grow in fun and exciting ways and in ways that could have generated revenue, but now the have alienated so many players with the drastic changes, I doubt they will retain the fan base.

Well, if the developers are reading, then they need to read that all of these changes are going to make them loose players! The game has gotten less fun over the last few days. Instead of concentrating their efforts on making the boxes the harder to find, they should be putting their efforts into adding more production machines, more veggies to grow, more food to produce, more animals to get more fruit trees and bushes to grow, more things to decorate our farms with and most of all a way to enlarge are farms! If they have fun stuff to entice the game players with, there will be a certain percentage that buys diamonds and gold. The more popular the game is, the more of those percentage they will have, but if they alienate their players, the game will loose popularity pretty quickly. Developers, bring back the boxes... They are needed in the game. Make it easier to earn diamonds, not harder to keep the interest up!

You all do realize that it is not the sole purpose of the game devs to have 1000s of us play the game for free, right?
Of course boxes should be rare, and bugs must be fixed. (100 boxes a day? that's just ridiculous anyways. I'm glad they fixed it.)
If everyone gets everything for free (especially diamonds) without end then how exactly do you think the company is going to pay the game devs, advertisement fees, server fees a.s.f.?
Better to have no players and shut down the project than losing money on it!

(Don't get me wrong, I like free stuff and do not spend my money on in-game purchases, except what I earned from Juno Wallet maybe. And no, I'm not a game dev myself. But we gotta be realistic here.)

Well I don't actually fully agree with that as the boxes are the only way there is for people to collect building materials and saws, axes, dynamite and shovels. If there were different ways to get those(except from planting and harvesting enermous amounts of crops to just get a few) it wouldn't have been such a bad change, but now it will be really hard to find this stuff and you really need them. Also they won't be much for sale anymore as people will needany last one of them theirselves, and therefore the newspaper will contain even less valuable materials.

So, if tey can come up with a better way to find these things(maybe buying them at your docks and getting them by boat shipments) then it's a good thing boxes are getting rare.

I don't think anyone here is expecting to have the boxes back with the glitch intact, but they have swung the pendulum to the other extreme here. Taking away the diamonds in the boxes and also pretty much taking away the boxes themselves have totally turned me off the game.

I think people have more of things than others. Like I have at lease 25 screws and duck tapes! But I desperately need bolts and nails! I wish the iPad forum would have a thread that you can put friend requests. I'm new to this website so I don't know what to do!
