Some tips on getting Captain III: once you know what the next boat wants, try to stock up before it comes. I think in level 31 you still doesn't have jam maker? Then lucky for you ^^ coz they take really looong time to produce.. On the other hand, some basic items such as sugar can be requested as much as 60 items in one boat, so be prepared!

Also, you can delay the next boat by not opening the game before the gap time runs out. Even if the gap time is several seconds left, if you leave the game and open it again 5 hrs later or even the next day, the boat will only arrive at the time you open the game. This comes very handy when you're waiting for all production queues to finish cooking, or when you want to play only on free time so you'll have enough time to send request to the forum, wait for response, go back & forth between your farm & neighbors.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah, I figured my sanity would appreciate it if I try before the jam maker opens up. I've also resisted using my free trial of Tom, so I'll have him too of things get really crazy.

Are you originally from Germany or are you a transplant from somewhere else? I'm way out here in the western US in southern Utah. We are about 1.5 hrs. from Las Vegas.

What happened to the movie tickets? I had one when I first woke up but now I haven't gotten anymore. It's been 12 hours since I had that ticket.

OK, so I just finished Turbo Trucker II (yay! and thanks to everyone here for all the advice), and I learned that, unlike the Captain achievements on the boats, the Turbo Trucker achievements reset each time you complete one. ie When I finished 20 orders, I didn't have the remainder of the 30 minutes to complete 10 more; the game re-set the clock to 30 minutes and re-set my deliveries to ZERO. Too bad, too, because I would have made it all the way to 30 pretty easily, but I didn't have enough in my barn to get to 50 orders at once. Sigh. Ah, well, on to re-stocking my barn for my next attempt. TT2 is fun with a full barn, by the way.

I just learned another thing: when you fill up your production queues and you have products piling up on your machines waiting to get into a full barn, each machine only shows you a maximum of 9 finished items; the others are hidden. I had a mini tantrum about spending the afternoon making 9 brown sugars and then seeing only 2 waiting on the machine when I returned, but when the barn opened up and I started clicking on them, all the brown sugars appeared one by one.
