From my experience of playing day to day, certain items are rare. One day planks are rare, next day tape, etc. Some days I have had way too much tape and then next day I will need some and for the life of me, not enough are posted in the newspaper and I cant find any.

As for having the newspaper ad icons on your items (I am assuming that is what you mean), just means your items have not sold yet. You will have to wait...

That's not a bug. You can have more than one item in the newspaper at once. I have multiple as well. That simply means your items have not been purchased thus far. Greg will buy them if no one else does. He normally takes about 24 hours from the time you place the items on your stand.

When you view a pic with the preinstalled photos app(I'm using my iPad)select a photo and select edit at the top. You should see options at the bottom afterwards.

Talk about a stunning farm... I started playing three days ago and managed to reach level 21 but have not invested any money yet in any of the decorations.... Saving that for a little later in the game....

Me too. I only have $10,320 invested in decor. The rest is fruit trees and bushes which do not apply to the Dream Farm achievement award. I'm building coins so I can purchase the last 3 smelters at the same time.

Has anyone been able to sell ores to their virtual visitors? Last time I had too many and they did not seem the least bit interested.

Very rarely. I think platinium ore has been bought twice from my roadside shop. All other ore has been bought by Greg after 24 hours.

Now that I don't need to clear any stones, I am allways in excess of ore. At some point when I needed space in my barn I used all dynamite, tnt and shovels on my mines. I kept the recieved ore in the mines and pick only three at the time for smelter. This way barn had more room as the excess ore does not sell. I had like 300 ore (and few diamonds) in the mines stored this way several days.

Best way finding building materials is visiting friends farms and opening mystery boxes. Note, I don't ever use diamonds to open a mystery box. There will soon be a new one in my friends farms.

I used to buy lot of barn items in the beginning of the game when the newspaper stand operated differently (every time you opened stand it had list of different items). It took quite a time to browse as usually stand was full of egg adverts. Nowadays stand seems to change listing around every 20 to 30 seconds. Have not measured.

And stand still is full of eggs. When you are selling eggs, please dont advert those as they just flock the stand. Unclick the green marker when you put them in basket. Only Greg will be buying those and he will buy them after 24 hours even if you dont advert them.
