I find it really hard to hoard coins, and I have not bought many things in the paper lately. I always have between 40k and 50k but can't go beyond that

I still need two smelters but don't want to part with my cash yet I flip lots of fruits and veggies. 100-500 coins/sale I make. I make good money from feeds too. Not rich but can keep a steady amount despite buying lots of upgrade materials.

For making money at higher levels I saved most of my produced items for orders since I want the xp and they usually give a decent amount of money too. In my stall I sell a lot of excess milk (do you have all your animals? I have all except pigs and sheep) and then fruits and berries (I keep at least 50 in my silo and sell the rest). I made money pretty quickly that way.

Until I reached my goal money wise the only things I bought in the paper were cheap items, building materials and jewelry.

I did the second time I got the 60% off. I was waiting to see if it went higher, I don't think it does. I figured I spent enough time on the game that $8 was probaby worth it. I spent a bunch of them right away and am really careful with my finger to avoid spending them accidentally.
