Ah, so that explains it with the diamonds! I too thought I used them accidentally. Guess they'll be getting a lot of feedback about this issue.

As for the FB thing, I created another account. However, I noticed that if you go into the Hay Day settings on FB, there's an option to make the posts visible to only you, so I guess it wouldn't be spamming everyone else's wall. I would have just done that first if I had looked into it more. I know I sure hated seeing everyone's FarmVille posts and all the obnoxious friend requests every time I logged into FB....

Has anyone found a reasonable amount of diamonds by digging through the mine? I finished the building the dock and am now trying to decide if opening the mine is worth it. I didn't really plan on buying a smelter anytime soon so the the main reason I'd get the mine is for the diamonds.

I get a diamond once about every ten attempts. I haven't retrieved one with a shovel though.

I can't find the question on the forum to quote, but someone earlier wondered why their items weren't selling when they were reasonably priced and advertised. I had an unusual experience with this yesterday.

I had anticipated I'd need a lot of bacon and eggs for a shipment, and once the boat arrived I had too many so listed several lots of 10 very cheaply, knowing there were plenty of bacon and eggs available, so my intention was to sell them not necessarily make a profit. Upon advertising most were sold immediately. Yet I realised hours later that the remaining units just refused to be sold, I'd list other items and everything around the bacon and eggs were sold straight away. Prior to Greg buying them a friend wanted them for her shipment, she was certain my bacon and eggs weren't listed in my stall. She was able to view my recently listed items but the bacon and eggs were missing.

I wondered whether after a period of time unsold items that Greg will buy are hidden to other buyers, explaining why a particular item just refuses to be sold before Greg turns up. Anyone else experienced this?

I just came here to ask this same question... kinda. I haven't had anyone check for me to see if my items are visible, but I have noticed that I have items that refuse to sell regardless of the price I set for them. I would think maybe I'm just getting out priced, but I watch similar items at similar prices sell like hot cakes in the paper, yet no one buys mine. Add to that the eggs that never sell because of the flooded egg market, and even with all my friends I'm running out of spaces for my goods.

How do I make serious money in order to buy the machines, open mine and repair docks. I seam to be making a few coins each day but no where near enough?

Yea, I can't seem to make money either. Waiting for docks to repair, waiting for items to produce, wait, wait, wait! Loved this game when I started. Now at level 26, and all I'm doing is waiting. Stuck.

I think that is what they were trying to address with the latest update, but it didn't work so well.

It's really fun at first because there's so much new stuff to do and you advance quickly. But once you get up in the levels, the game makers need to make it harder for you to get new stuff, so it's harder to level up and buy new things. Problem is, there's so much downtime between levels and your ability to buy new stuff, that the game actually becomes boring. They were trying to fix it with the trees and berry bushes, but those are even more boring because they take longer than the crops. And the mine and the dock are just as bad. That stuff takes forever.

It's classic level-grinding. Except there isn't really an end to it, like fighting a big boss at the end or saving the world.

Well, I suppose at the end of this you get to make some jam. It better be some really good jam.

Hi all-

For the last hour or so, every time I try to put an item up for sale in my roadside stand, the app crashes. anyone else having this problem? If so, is it me or is it them? I can buy things just fine, but cannot put items up for sale without a disconnect/server problem. Any help is welcome.

I lost more again today. I went from 64 to 10. Looks like this game is going the same was as the simpsons tapped out. It will probably be pulled off itunes soon.
