I will keep an eye on the newspaper and get extra tapes whenever possible. I often see people selling sets of 10 even. I bet that if I was short on tapes and had tons of planks I would see the opposite in the newspaper. Damn, they programmed the game well!

Yes I think everybody has more items that are rare to them, I get wood more than anything and hardly ever get tape or nails
