How to get build materials fast?? Lvl 16 and its a pain....

They're pretty random so there is really no guaranteed way to get the quickly. When I'm playing I usually plant wheat constantly (because it is the fastest) so I have more chances to get them. Also check the paper a lot. Even if something else is advertised, sometimes you'll get lucky and find some in a person's shop.

There is no real easy way to be honest. Try to collect lots of stuff from your machines at once. And harvest all crops at once and you'll have more of a chance at finding something. I sometimes just plant lots of wheat and harvest it all, do this a couple of times. You'll find something. Then sell the extra in your shop really cheap and it goes fast, as your not doing it for cash, you can just sell for a coin or two.
