It helps alot. Also fill your production machine and keeps them working. I realize that I can always adds a line on my production machine eventhough my barn is full. They keeps on produce and have the product laying on the ground. There's no limit to that. The tricky part is when your item comes from the stuff in the barn, like ice cream comes from cream and white sugar. I'll make ice cream first and when my barn is full, I can queue on sugar production and have them laying around, make it easier to grab when the board need it.
