I'm going to have a guess that you want some help with your iPad, if so, this thread is a great place to start http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-help/

BTW, you are definitely not stupid and we are very glad that you are a member here, please let us know if you need anymore help.

Gabriel I am completely lost. Found somewhere how to create posts and threads. Can't find where I saw it (from Iriish granny) and this is doing my head in. My head is 80 years old and getting older by the minute. I have not used a forum before and I am flummoxed

As Gabe is offline, I'll answer this one for him. A sticky is a thread which is judged to be very useful. It will always appear at the top of the list of threads in the relevant subforum. If you are using the app, stickies are are found in a separate tab. Any thread can be made into a sticky, but there has to be a very good reason.

Thank you! One more question answered.

How do you know which thread you are in? Do you have to remember where you were. When I come back it always goes to dark angel witch

In the IPF App, when you return to a thread that you have previously been reading it will take you to the next post after the last one which was posted when you were reading previously.

To check which thread you are in just scroll to the top of the page and you'll see the title there. EDIT: it's at the top of the screen all the time.
