Hi new member needing help please

I have an ipad 2 and created my primary apple id it also asked for a second email address which i did, my problem is im trying to download apps and the blue box which comes up shows the second email i put so it dosent accept my password , but cant understand why my primary email apple id isnt shown in there. Ive gone to manage my apple id to no avail any suggestions please.

Have a look at

It's a bit iffy at the mo so might take a few tries, but you will be able to sort your account there, change emails, passwords etc if needs be

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Go to Settings - App Store - you'll see your Apple ID here, if it's not the right one, just press it and a box will pop up then select Sign out. The page will change and then you can sign back in with the correct email. Hope this helps, let us know.

When i go there it shows my correct apple id which is fine so dont understand why when going to download an app another id shows up in the blue box ?

On your ipad click on the App Store icon, once in, scroll to the bottom and it will have a button with your currently logged in appleid.

With the website, you have to login, thus showing your email address, but the ipad might be using a different one?
