Facebook rejecting new password on ipad

Hello, Am new to iPad and I recently changed my FB password (using laptop) and now cannot log in to FB using App or Safari. Was fine before. Safari log in works fine on laptop. Have cleared history/cookies on iPad Safari and uninstalled FB app many times but just cannot get iPad to accept new password. Any help much appreciated! Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

See if restarting or resetting your iPad makes a difference here,
Press and hold the power off button, the one at the top right. You will see a slide appear to power off, slide this and the screen will go dark and a Whirly will appear. When the Whirly disappears your iPad is now off. Press the power button again until the Apple logo appears, this will take a few seconds and your iPad will restart. You should restart your iPad occasionally also as it will keep it running well. Now see if it is operating.

Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.

Hey, Thanks for tips, I had tried restarting and also resetting ipad completely from scratch, but to no avail. In the end I reset the FB password and that did the trick. Bizarre that I only had problem on ipad, I think maybe it was a FB glitch though.
