How do you send an iMessage between 2 iPads? Do they both need 3G
I don't have 3G and neither does my friend, I tried to put in his email but iMessage won't let me send anything.

iMessage is available on both 3G and wifi and is available on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch and you must be on IOS5. Have you activated it in Settings? You also need to go to Notifications and set up your alerts. Have a look and let us know how you go.
