Hi, I'm new to the forum. Came here to see if other users were experiencing neck pain. I could see from my google of the iPad neck pain that I'm probably not alone. Any suggestions for this condition?
Thanks,
Ftc

Posture and time is important. Make sure to avoid neck positions that are too flexed or tilted back. It is ideal to keep your head in a straight forward position with your iPad at eye level or close to it. You can use props such as stands to get it upright and easier to see.
Also, avoid long durations of using your iPad. Long durations in one position makes muscle constantly contracted and reduces blood flow to the tissue. This creates risk of soreness and trigger points to your neck and back. Get up and walk, give yourself a break.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!
Skimonkey has given you some great info here already. Yes you need to use the iPad in a way that is not straining your neck. Sometimes you get so engrossed with the iPad that time passes very quickly but you've been in the same position too long, take a break and have a big stretch and get the kinks out.

One possibility: Load Amazon's Windowshop app and check out iPad stands galore. (The Windowshop app makes for much easier and quicker browsing than the regular website.) There are plenty of stands for sale elsewhere online, too.
