Go to the forum where you want to post your thread. At the top of the list of threads there is a black header bar that says "Threads in Forum: ---". Just above that on the left is a small box that says "New Thread". Click on that, and you are away.

Make sure you give your thread a title that will give people a good idea of the subject matter. For example, just naming a thread "Help!" is not much use - "How do I start a new thread?" would be a better title.

Problem.I tried to begin in the "welcome forum" and I put in my "title" and then I couldn't write in message box. I could not add font nor size. Weird. As for for starting a new thread in forum that is a problem. I followed your instructions. I do have an IPad 2. I don't know if that makes a difference.
