Is Verizon iPad mini able to conected to ATT?

Noticed on the spec sheet for the Verizon version that it lists all the cellular networks including GSM and Edge as well as CDMA. Does that mean I could stick an AT&T sim in a Verizon machine and it would work?

It should work, but at slower speeds -- 3G, not LTE.
