Thread: iPhone5 Event Live Blog Links

In a few hours, Apple will start with its famous September keynote, which is normally used for new iPhone and iPod announcements. This year, the rumors regarding the iPhone 5 have been somewhat pale in comparison due to rumors regarding a smaller iPad, the iPad Mini. Originally it was thought to be included in this keynote, but during the last few weeks things changed a bit, and it is more likely that Apple is doing a separate announcement for that somewhere next month.

Last week, I found that the Engadget blogging was working the nicest, with pictures and comments about what was happening on-stage being posted up quickly.

iPhone 5, faster and more stuff, as expected, with the biggest change being a new screen aspect ratio, more wide-screen to offer another row of app icons and of course better for movies.

iPod Nano 7, back to playing videos again, and with bluetooth, it will work great in the car, but will it replace the smartphone in that regard?

iPod Touch 5, also faster and more stuff, and similar as the iPhone 5, a wider screen, which will work great for videos.

Aside from that, a new iTunes, new earbuds, and of course iOS6, all to be released somewhere next month.

The new iphone 5 will be the best seller in the smart phone category
