Quick Guide:
Step 1: Download the free DVD Catalyst 4 trial (converts 25% of each video) version (link) or purchase DVD Catalyst 4 Retail version (link) for a limited time for only $9.95, and install it on your (Windows XP/Vista/7/8) computer (no Mac version at this time).
Step 2: Start DVD Catalyst 4 and select your device (NOOK color, Xoom, Nexus 7, Galaxy S3, Transformer Infinity etc) profile:
Step 3: Insert your DVD or drag your video files over onto DVD Catalyst 4.
(DVD Catalyst 4 works with DVDs, DVD ISO's, AVI, MKV etc. For Bluray, please have a look here (link). So-called Digital Copies, such as the ones you get for free with some DVD and Bluray purchases, as well as digital download movies from locations like iTunes, Amazon, Vudu and UltraViolet are DRM-protected and can not be converted).
Step 4: Tap Go to start the conversion process.
Step 5. Connect your device to your computer and copy the file over.
If you are using an existing DVD Catalyst 4 version, the update to 4.2.1 is free.
To update DVD Catalyst 4, tap on the cat-eyes in the program to have it look for updates, or use the original link you received upon purchase to download the latest version.
