When you use the Iphone as a modem you only use your data, when you are away from the Wifi.
It will be the same as if you play on you IPhone - but perhaps I am the only one so - and recently - addicted 8)

When I sit on a train I often have my Iphone in my pocket with "datasharing" on. My Ipad on my lap is connected to my hidden Iphone. :)

I've started to breed iron and rust for coins and continue working on my shrine grind. It takes a LOT of food to level them up.
