Has anyone noticed an increase in chances of getting a rare if you have ever purchased gems vs never have??

Finally got 2 papers then I got a seasonal dragon now I only need silver gold Olympus and equinox...I hope I can get it I have 2 48 hour dragons breeding ATM :c
