If you look it closely and carefully, i don't know if you notice it, but it looks pretty and very artistic, its trunk is the body and head of a dragon, the branches are its wing, and the leaves are the feathers. ;)

You can not put gemstone, moon, sun, rainbow and gold dragon in the colosseum, it does not have the element required for the event.

Yep, that's exactly it! Lol! I know I cannot control the odds, but somehow that doesn't matter, hehe! I still want to make the best choice long term.

Kryp (and others too) do have a point though! I mean, the gem island has room for four gem dragons so we will be forced to display the eggs at some point. If I don't display now I'll be forced to sell my ruby when my fourth gem dragon is brought on the market. If I am right in assuming that with each month a new gem dragon is introduced..

Oooo... I'm having so much fun :-D

Just brought 130 gems and tried for sun, got storm everytime! :(

Same here! It is a tough dragon to get. We'll need A LOT of patience. I try very hard to resist the tempation of speeding up the breeding time ;-)

Yup, u got it right! And I totally understand what kryp and others mean re their philosophy. It's the first explanation I understand since all I heard previously is that they're pretty. Well, in my head, pretty doesn't pay! But I understand the limits on the gem island and losing our opportunity to display once we hatch, totally get it, but will my magic finger be ABLE to press display rather than hatch. Oo ooh, I don't knowwwwww!
