So would it be would best to upgrade on both of them? I see most of u have upgraded to the ones you have to pay 275 and 175 in jewels on.

The Island / Sanctuary has a slightly better chance of breeding rare dragons than the cave does apparently, although nobody knows the exact statistics for sure! :D

Many folks breed dragons for money using the cave (Rust is probably the best one, since it breeds quickly and sells for 1.65 million!), and keep the Island / Sanctuary for breeding the actual dragons they want for their collection... But that said, it's perfectly possible to get rares in the Cave as well! :D

Thank you for the info and I was very lucky to get my Pearl first try in the BC & I am going for Rust right now as soon as my cave empties. Don't you find it funny that Rust is worth so much more than the other Metals, it just tickles me that we discard anything rusty as junk!

Congrats - doing the dragonvale happy dance for you....been doing that dance so much lately I think I could do it in my sleep!!!

The pearl dragon proves to be quite near to impossible for me, been trying to breed it for like 1,5 week, 2 tries a day in the bc as on the breeding island, so 4 chances a day, but no luck so far *sigh* hopefully it'll work before the months up :(

It took me three weeks with around 4-6 breeds a day to get my dodo. I was getting so frustrated.

Im not sure if it helped my get my pearl but I did a lot of redecorating and my guests were in the 70s. I had the same thing with the emerald. I did some decorating and within the same day I got an emerald and a rainbow.

Thanks for the tip! I'll for sure give it a try! Haven't decorated in a while, I'm actually quite happy with my set up, but it's for a good cause ;)

Trying for my pearl got 48 hr just finished breeding and I have my first rainbow incubating now very excited happy dance

I sure hope so! Still trying - up around 55 attempts now. I'm integrating new Snow and Seaweed dragons all the time to switch up the combos, since I have been getting so many Snow and Seaweeds from failed Pearl attempts - at least my Shrines are filling up quickly ;) I wonder if its a better idea to breed the same 2 dragons over and over?
