For the Opal I'm going to guess water and poison. That gives me one of the basic elements and color. And the fails aren't that bad. It does seem too easy tho, doesn't it, no 24 hour fails!

Interesting, in the Dragonvale Wiki, under the Notes section, they listed a comment that "...there is lighting bolt in the Opals eye, suggesting that it can be bredd with lighting or lighting hybred.." and then the comment was removed. I'm thinking one of the parents might be Current or Plasma, I'm trying Current + Poison next.

Topaz I'd think. I guess it would use blazing for the orange.

November birthstone is citrine or golden topaz, yet many people choose blue topaz, blue is more common color for topaz

You may notice that the colors of the modern and traditional birthstones tend to be the same, implying that color is important consideration and blue topaz would not be an acceptable birthstone choice for November, only golden topaz. Indeed, blue topaz is sometimes considered to be an alternate birthstone for December.

So i chose citrine for November's gem dragon.
