I think you mistakenly categorize Rain as Opposite Dragon, it does not need Air Hybrid. It only needs Water and Air

Sometimes I wonder to what extent this game may provide the rules...,I got one Moon dragon with Sonic + Storm and how many times I try this again, it will not work..

The rules in breeding moon is that there should be at least one lightning and one cold element present in the pairing combination and it should be breed between 7pm-7am. But it will not guaranty you will always get moon. this game is all about luck and probability.
