Took ages and I so wanted to start feeding them up to gold. Resistance is sooo hard and patience. WellOriginally Posted by Cox780770
The output from my first build was HUGE. But as it was primarily Panlongs in Earth habitats with their 75,000 capacity and in Water habitats with their 30,000 capacity there was a lot of wasted production. Habitats would fill up and stop if I decided to, say, sleep or eat.
So what I've done to fine tune things a bit is the following:
O Have only two Panlongs in two Water habitats, even though their capacity is four dragons.
O Have three Panlongs in three Earth habitats.
O Have seven rainbows. These only produce at a rate about half of the Earths, but their capacity is a million, so they only have to be emptied a couple times a day.
O And in the interest of bio-diversity, I have three Cold habitats. One has a combination of three Frostfies and Bluefires. One has two of those plus a Cold I need for breeding Snows. And the other has two of the high producers plus the Snow I'm working on leveling up to 15 at any given time. When I get to 15 I sell it for $1M and bring in the next one that I started breeding a few hours before.
O And I breed Airs or Sandstorms continually and wait until they get to under an hour and then hatch them for one gem for $500K each which I use to buy 10,000 treats.
This seems to be working well. On 30 gems a day I think I can produce 3-4 Snows a day. Since I'm halfway there, I should have gold Air and Cold shrines in a little over a week. Then on to the Panlongs.
P.S. I LOVE the basement cave because I like to tinker and I can do it without upsetting things or losing prior investments. If only they had done it 24 hours earlier! I lost 10 level 15's setting up the factory one day early.

Couple more things....
I still have a Fire habitat that is good for nothing at this point. When the Fire dragon is done with his stint in the Colosseum I'm going to put those dragons in the cave, sell the habitat and buy another Cold habitat as I have two level 15 Bluefires in the cave.
Oh, and don't forget the mighty output of my babies on Nursery Island! They're not to be trifled with.

Ok, well try sticking with only blazing left and mud right! Try that OVER and OVEROriginally Posted by GT500Girl
I have done that now I'm trying mud and blazing in only one cave and a fog and lava in the other as I had been doing mud and blazing in both for ages and had nothing after about 48 tries really hope we get one soon xOriginally Posted by 15donahun

A Saturday Quiz
I found out something really interesting - and completely counter intuitive. On my Chinese gold coin factory island, I have three Earth and two Water habitats, all inhabited by Panlongs I experimented with various combinations of boosts using Fire, Water and Earth boosts. With every possible combination but one, the Panlongs produced 342 gold coins a minute in both Earth and Water habitats. With one combination, and only one combination, they produced 411/hour, an increase of 20%. Guess which combination produced the best result? Remember, it's counter intuitive (at least it was to me).
