Visiting and gifting doesn't work for me ??

I finally figured it out. You visit friends while visiting friends to reset the gift amounts. It doesn't work every time but mostly it does. I gifted every friend I have today. . Now if I could just breed a sand and a rainbow.

I have also finally been able to send gems to every one of my friends! It can be a time consuming process, but now that I am caught up, I know how to send back to those who send to me that very day! I am so glad to find out about this!!!

Also, just a question, anyone else see in the description for the bone dragon that if they aren't in a pair, or near a fire (heat) source, they may disappear? I kinda get that sense... So I'm trying for my second one! Still aiming for the sand and rainbow!!

I just put a L10 fire and a L10 quake, and there is a 3hr wait.. Not sure what this is gonna be!! Any ideas?

I did the same and gifted each friend of mine. Actually it seems strange because after less than an hour the "Gem-Trick" worked again and i was able to send to friends i already gifted.
So I asked some of my friends whether their received my Gems or not and they didn't received any.
(except the 3 people I gifted with my dayly Gem's).

So it seems it's only a "bug" within the last update.
Your friends won't receive the Gems you send. It's like before just 3 a day.

I thought of that, but I haven't seen anyone list those as an offspring from this pairing..I guess it could be that though.. We'll see..

Well, you were right, looks like it will be a firefly, that's what the egg looks like.... Guess that's another combo to add to the list of possibilities for this pair. Since I hadn't seen that posted anywhere, I was hoping maybe, just maybe, it would be something new... ;-)

Yes, it definitely worked for me the past few days, but it does not reset every time you visit from a friend, only every third time or so. I cannot tell if the gems arrive though after you sent the original three allowed. I think we should be allowed more gems too. But even if I send to all my friends I only get one or two back if I am lucky.
