Where or how do you know if you got gems from someone?

You usually get a notification but some of us also post our sent gems daily in another thread as we have a few problems with the notifications search for dragonvale sent gems if you want to join in lol x x x

I counted my gems return list and i have nearly 2 weeks worth! And thats with the dragonsai tree!!

Can anyone suggest a good way to do the gold shrines? Some people are breeding fogs so they can do water and air but I am wondering if sandstorm might be better to do. Then there are the other elements and I just don't know what to do lol.

On a random note, does anyone else look at the Fog dragon and automatically think it looks like it's continually farting? Terrible and juvenile I know but it is seriously the first split second though I have every time I catch sight of it...like the cartoon stink clouds when someone passes gas, hehe. Sorry all.

Hey thanks so much!
I'm actually not as happy as I was with my new layout because I had to rearrange again a little bit, as I bought another Cold habitat for the new dragons (prefer to have another Cold if possible, than have them in Water or Fire)
All my farms are now on my quiet/breeding island as well - until I eventually get the 6th island (definitely EVENTUALLY, as the XP to level will take FOREVER, haha) and move them there. I've had a quiet/breeding island for ages now but this is the first time I've been able to leave more of the existing trees and rocks and still have room for everything else. I am quite happy with that aspect.

I am still reasonably happy with the rest of my islands...though I always get new ideas or see things in other people's parks that I love so you never know when I'll start moving stuff again, haha.
