Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

AARRRGGGHHH sooooo much more aggravation trying to change my islands this time around. Not only is the 'being unable to see one whole island' thing annoying me but I am also getting more frustrated than ever with the limitations of placing certain objects in certain ways...
Right now I REALLY wish I could place the habitats/colosseum on the diagonal (because I really like that look) but still have a straight path leading up the middle of the island, instead of that having to be zigzag/individual stones.

Hey if someone could check my park out it would be great. I have no idea what to do with my 5th island. Right now all it has is treat farms and a cold habitat which will be for baby reindeer, baby mountain, and baby blue fire. I could really use some ideas. Any help would be appreciated!

My boyfriend actually got me into dragonvale. He thinks its cute when I get excited over the game and he understands my obsession. I think he is jealous though that I have gotten more rares than him but oh well lol.

I want to give gifts but when I tap "give gift" it just darkens and doesn't say anything like "gift sent."

When it shades out (goes dark) that means you've sent the gift. You will also notice the number of gifts you have left has been reduced by one each time you do. Hope that makes sense.

It's is a lightening an cold dragon to make a water it's all a case of luck maybe try maturing them more or maybe when choosing the dragons to breed put the lightening on the right and the cold on the left that may work

Sonic and storm worked wonders for me. Got me 2 suns and 3 moons

Hey guys! I signed up to this forum just because of Dragonvale.

Currently I'm a level 25 and I have completed all the goals, and every acheivement except for the Double Rainbow.
I have gotten rid of all of my plant habitats except for 1 (its a shame the max coin is 500), all my lightning habitats except for 2
and multiples of all other habitats except for rainbow (only 1).
I have upgraded my Plant and Fire shrines to Silver, and very close on Lightning shrine and Earth shrine.

In terms of RARE DRAGONS, I have been quite lucky and persistent.

3 MOONS
2 SUNS
1 RAINBOW
3 BLUE FIRE
2 SANDSTORM
7 REINDEER (I'm aiming for 12 and naming each after one of Santa's reindeer)

I just wanted to run a couple strategies and questions by you Dragonvale experts.....
I use 9 out of 10 Huge Treat Farms to grown Dragon Fruit, and buy and sell the last Huge Treat Farm over and over again.

Is the BEST (most efficient) way to level up XP to buy and sell one HUGE TREAT FARM over and over again?? You spend $750K in cash, but you get 750K in XP instantly. (1 XP for 1 dollar)
What other methods are there? (Buy/Sell Fire Statue - 1 XP for 2 dollars)

Is the fastest way to get CASH, to breed water and fire for Air and sell for $500K every 2 hours?
What other methods are there?

I'm not really too into exchanging gems, because the only thing I've bought with my gems was the epic breeding island.
What do you guys do with your gems?

Last question: Was the BONE DRAGON a limited edition dragon? and is it too late to get it? Too bad I only started playing this a couple months ago.
