I always choose the dragon with the same orb on top of it (quake for earth for ex.) as the event. Quake I always use for earth, but I still got more gold than silver from that.

Orb above might be the same as the first dragon maybe?

I'm pretty sure the orb is the element that the dragon has first :3 so if its a water/earth hybrid it would have the water orb on the head.

Maybe we could list down our gold medalist in colosseum event to see which dragon has the most gold in particular event so that it may help others.

These are the dragons that usually gave me gold trophies:

Air = Butterfly
Cold = Reindeer, Gift
Earth = Bone
Fire = Rose, Paper
Lightning = Love, Thunder
Metal = Malachite, Ironwood
Plant = Clover, Evergreen
Water = Century, Rain

I've been using my lvl 20 Panlong King for as many elemental events as possible.

At this rate, there's NO way I'm getting the Celtic dragon. Always 12 hour breeding times when I try to get clover. Yeah, moss and plant. Done that. It's not working.

What combo are you using? Don't forget that Moss Dragon is required + Plant or any Plant hybrid.

Suggested Combo are:
Moss + Flower
Moss + Poison
Moss + Sakura

So that fail is not always 12hrs or 14hrs, you can also get 30mins, 1hr, 8hr or 10hrs

My fails for two Aquamarine dragons ended up at 34.
6-River
8-Glacier
8-Iceberg
5-Mountain
4-Ice
2-Mud
1-Century

I had about 8-10 fails before I bred my first Celtic. I'm hoping for a 2nd before I panic tomorrow night and start speeding them up.

I always save gems for this emergency xD specially the too fast and furious dragon breed! 3 days to get a rare dragon was a stress for me, I can breath now I got my second Celtic x3

I managed to get my second Celtic. Got both with lvl 15 Flower & Storm, they are now busy breeding my Display egg
