I got an 8-hour timer in my upgraded cave with Air and Mountain. Either a Glacier or my first Blizzard. Hoping for the latter. Also got the 11:12 timer on my upgraded island with Flower and Blazing. Here's hoping it's my second Rose and not a Smoke. Good luck to all and happy breeding!

It was my first Blizzard. Put Snow and Sandstorm in the cave - another 8 hour. Come on second Blizzard!

Hope everyone's breeding is going well. I have my 2nd Rose in the hatchery, 2 love and 1 Century so far. Haven't tried for a Blizzard yet.

I think there is a bug in the gem island habitats. I'm only getting 1 gem a week even with 2 Gem dragons in each. Anyone else having this issue?

Hope everyone's breeding is going well. I have my 2nd Rose in the hatchery, 2 love and 1 Century so far. Haven't tried for a Blizzard yet.

If you have two gem dragon in one gem habitat, it will generate 1gem every 3.5days.

About getting gems from friends

I promised to come back when I got an answer from BFS about the message "and others", you get when you receive more than 4 gems from friends on one occation.

I wrote:

Sometimes I get more than 4 gems from my friends. Then there – as you know – is a message that says:
“and others”.
I would really like to know, who has given me gems.
Are there any plans to change this in the game, so we can see more than 4 names, of the ones who has been kind enough to give?

They answered:

When I have thought more about this, I wonder:
Have they thought about how things function IRL. We all have friends in other parts of the world; When we sleep, they play and give gems, and the other way around.
Then it can occasionaly happens you get more than 4 gems at a time

Would it be an idea if more people than I wrote to them about the same thing. I have not explained this about sleeping and beeing awake on differnt hours around the world

I got my second rose too! I also only need the Cyclope now. I'm trying to get a scoria for my display as it is the only common/uncommon egg I still need.
