I think it's almost or impossible to get basic dragon as result, except when you breed Opposite Dragon with one of its element.

The whole uncommon business confuses me so much. One moment I think I understand it, but then I find out I dont.

So let me see if I finally get it: the only way to get scoria is with metal earth? And copper is only lightning metal?

You and me both, at least you have a little bit of an understanding. I am completely lost. The sandbox gives me the different outcomes of the dragons I breed together, but I would also love to know what the percentages are, that would be a huge help!

Flower+Metal will give you long fail time, but that is good if you are also targeting for Gold Dragon.

No. It's happened to me before when I'd bred earth and sonic together, many times. I think it's quite common.

So, I've just started playing DV (am getting bored of Hay Day now) and wondered if there was a newbie guide anywhere? I currently have 6 red gems and seem to need 25 to purchase the next dragon and progress with the game. How do you get lots of gems, other than with real money? Many thanks.
