Your recommendations have paid off again Marc. An hour on from 3 frozen screens I thought I would try the dragon races again. You mentioned putting in panlong for the year of the dragon. I did, and as a result my 1st place won me 2 gems. Not a bad investment for $50,000 coins. Thanks again, appreciate the great tips you place on this thread.

So i speed up my 3rd Olympus from Dodo+Quake, it's a Silver again! Put Sandstorm+ Crystal 3x, got 2 quake, the 3rd try is another Olympus, don't know what type yet.

Here my winning combo:
Air+Quake= Bronze (4th try)
Dodo+Sonic= Silver (1st try)
Dodo+Quake= Silver (1st try)
Sandstorm+Crystal= ???? (3rd try)

Oh... The ???? seems like spell GOLD

Yay, 2nd Silver Olympus! But I accidentally sped it up for 28gems. Magic fat finger!

Do you think the with 2 silvers I'd be better breeding them to try for gold and bronze or stick with the sonic earth pair?

If you breed two silver you will always get another, stay with sonic/earth or maybe try air/quake, this gave me two bronze...

It's the right choice you hatch your 2nd bronze, you can breed both of them to get an egg anyway.

After many failed attempts with my breedings and using a number of different combinations listed by successful players I am happy to say that I finally have my first Olympus dragon breeding in my normal breeding cave. It has not been upgraded so it's a full 35 hour wait, with 30 hours left to go. I have another crystal breeding on epic. At least I don't need to wait a full 24 hours as my epic is upgraded. I have no idea what my new olympus dragon will be. Don't mind really, just excited to know I have been successfulI. I used quake and air.

Congratulations to all whose patience and winning combos have paid off. Not long to go now and peridot will be in the market. I'll be trying for more Olympus before then! I thinks it's game on! Or, maybe more a case of 'the pressure is on!'8-)

I just got two Olympus dragons. :P One is bronze the other is silver. I'm hoping for gold next time.
