Dragonvale Tips & Tricks! (NO Friend Requests!)

Happy to say just leveled up my last chrome, so that has got my air shrine to gold. Only 3 more dragons - the new malachite, and I will also level up my metal and plant to gold. Just need to get 2 malachite to breed. I am still on the hunt for my first one. I put in metal and clover and it has landed me a 14 hour tree. Who knows, the new peridot next month may need tree as a breeding dragon? It is green, well, partially! 8-). O, and I am close to purchasing the new epic upgrade. From memory it is now 225 gems only. I'm sitting on 221 gems, so I'm really close - yay!

Why can't you use other metals to lvl up, n plants take just mins to breed or have you set yourself a challenge ( as if the Ruby wasn't challenge enough)? But getting excited for you. I got my fire shrine to silver today. I got my first dragon orb thanks to all the fireworks lol. What are you going to do once you have all the dragons n all your shrines r gold?

This has probably been asked before but what is the quickest way to make money? when i first started out i had plant, and 2 fire habitats which made quite a bit. I now have 1 plant, 2 fires, 3 earths, 1 cold and 1 lightning. I have just upgraded my lightning and earth to the large. have you any more tips to make money?

Breeding and Selling eggs Strategy:

For beginner, if you still don't have Air and Metal Dragon, breeding a Cactus Dragon is a quick and easy way to earn DragonCash (DC) since it can earn you 100,000 DC an hour (breeding and hatching).

Many people also breed an Air Dragon for DC. This is very commonly well known because it only takes four hours to breed and hatch. It sells for 500K so this is a quick and easy way to earn some extra DC. (Note: Fire Dragon bred with Water Dragon makes an Air Dragon.)

Yet this is NOT the best way to earn the most DC in DragonVale.
Breeding Iron Dragon or the Magnetic Dragon gets you 1,150,000 DC in total of 8 hours. This is so far the most efficient way to earn the most DragonCash so far in DragonVale.

For collecting DC in habitat, Quake Dragon is the best non-limited dragon money earner for the Earth habitat. (Panlong is best limited dragon money earner in an Earth Habitat)

Yes if you want quick money. But it's not fun if you just keep breeding and selling. there are still lots of ways to earn money. Play how you want to play it, it's all about fun.

Hi Marie, I have 3 metal dragons to get before gold, and 3 plant before my plant shrine turns gold. If I leveled up three plant, I still need to level up 3 metal. If I breed 3 malachite as that is a plant and metal dragon that is all I need to breed as it will cover both my metal and plant shrines as the malachite covers both elements.

I always recommend going for 2 panlong dragons so you can start breeding them. Keeping in mind that once you get a panlong dragon to level 10, you will also add one extra to your other shrines as panlong has 4 elements, so that counts for earth, fire, water and air all at the same.

I have added the food and coin count for the shrine grind. It costs a total of 16 million, 383 thousand coins to level up one dragon to level 15. If I did 3 plant and 3 metal, I would need to multiply that figure by 6. Breeding 3 malachite means I am only multiplying that number x 3, and I still get 2 gold shrines.

Once I get all gold, I will work on my other egg pedestals and also level up a few dragons so I can get a few crowns. I'm thinking, one panlong, one clover, one frost fire, one reindeer - mostly cold and earth as those habitats hold the greatest amount of money.
So, just to shock you - here is the shrine grind.

I do not know if the chances are better, but i got mostly gold with the following (always Lv.15):

Eart Event = Sakura
Fire Event = Love
Plant Event= Love
Lightning Event = Bloom
Air Event = Butterfly
Cold Event = Bloom

Water and Metal Events i put mostly Quicksilver, waiting for the three-Element-Dragon there!
